Cellar Door Ontario is an in-progress guide to Ontario wineries. I am building its search, regional browsing, map, and visit planning experience.

Ontario wine country is spread across many regions. I am bringing winery details, search, a map, and a saved visit into one guide so a day trip is easier to plan.

The idea

Make Ontario wine country easier to explore.

A visitor might know a town, a grape, or simply that they want a weekend route. The guide is designed to support each of those starting points.

What is built

A guide shaped around the trip.

  • Find a winery — Search by winery, town, or grape and browse the five regions shown in the current local build.
  • See the landscape — The map places winery listings in their geographic context for planning a route.
  • Plan a visit — Save places and organize a trip from the guide.
